Movie Synopsis- Shonar Pahar is about a lonely aged mother Upama (Tanuja) & a 7 year old boy named Bitlu (Srijato) . Upama doesn’t share a healthy bond with her only son Soumya(Jisshu). She befriends Bitlu. The film explores the bond between children and the elder ones with the complexities that are often seen in families due to the generation gap. Rajdeep (Parambrata) is Soumya’s childhood friend and plays a pivotal role in the movie.
