Movie Synopsis- Abhimaan is the story of a proud business Indian-Bengali tycoon Ashok Deb Burman (Sabyasachi) and his estranged daughter Madhuja (Anjana). Madhuja harbours hate for her father, as she was disowned by her father because she married against his wishes. Twenty five years later, Ashok now wants to mend his relationship with his daughter. Ashok seeks the help of his grandson, Aditya Deb Burman (Jeet). The rest of the story follows Aditya’s leaving Italy and arriving at Kolkata, entering his aunt’s house posing as a driver and how he gets into many ups and downs and finally succeeds in reconciling his grandfather with his aunt.
