Movie Synopsis- Sudipa, a lady in her late thirties with a successful career, and Malini, a friendly homemaker, by chance become co-passengers in a train from Mumbai to Kolkata. Throughout the journey, Malini tries to befriend Sudipa with her stories about her husband & family and Sudipa gets irritated as her past is scarred by a failed marriage, though finally certain revelations get Sudipa interested in Malini & her stories. Certain revelations trigger introspection in her heart and she starts rethinking her life after 14 years. Praktan is a journey of realization and of memories which makes our lives significant.
